Over the past few years, Lake Elmo residents, business owners, and non-profit organizations discussed ways to create more opportunities for local events, service projects, and connections.
In August 2021, a group of people came together to explore this idea further - talking with both long-time residents and those new the community - with support from the City of Lake Elmo and the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. With a clear mission and vision to connect Lake Elmo residents, businesses, and non-profit partners, the group decided on the name, "Connect Lake Elmo."
In April of 2022, Connect Lake Elmo was established as a non-profit organization. The Board of Directors worked with Stillwater Area High School graphic design students to create a logo that represented the mission and vision.
The website and social media pages launched in November 2022 and we look forward to supporting the great community of Lake Elmo!
